Trevor Bayliss, head coach of England cricket team while speaking to us, said, “There could not have been a bigger blow for us. First Anderson pulled out, now Rohit Sharma. One wicket which my team was counting we will get easily as often Rohit gives it away to make match interesting. Now we have to put extra effort to earn the wicket who will replace him in the eleven. It will be a long winter for us.”

When we pointed out that the team has been announced for first two tests and Rohit might come back for later part of series, Trevor said, “We all know he is out for full series. To soften the blow, they have said something like this. Probably BCCI was scared that we might put an excuse like situation at the border is tense, let us postpone the series till some luck comes our way like Ashwin or Virat getting injured and Rohit getting fit.”
