UK to return Kohinoor if India wins series 5-0; confirms BCCI

In a stunning revelation, BBCI has just announced that United Kingdom has finally agreed to return the Kohinoor diamond if India wins the final Test match against England. In the five-match series, India is 4-0 up with one match of the series to play. It is worth mentioning that Indian Government has failed to bring Kohinoor back despite trying (almost) everything. As a result, the government has been severely criticized for its failure. Not anymore!

“We had a closed door meeting with The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) right after 3rd Test match,” revealed a BCCI spokesperson, “After a detailed discussion on DRS, we quickly raised the issue of Kohinoor, which really caught English board members off guard. Our team had prepared a PowerPoint presentation on the entire history of Kohinoor and had copies of the slides printed and bound into a pack for each of the ECB members. That did the trick! The room was filled with emotions ranging from confusion to immense hope,” BCCI spokesperson described the scene extremely well.

ECB on behalf of UK Government agreed to return Kohinoor, but on one condition – India must win the final Test matches of the series. Like everything else in life, there is another catch! Virat Kohli and R Ashwin must be rested and Parthiv Patel should lead the team instead.

“I am a senior player, I made a comeback into the Test side after a gap of eight years and scored well in both the innings. Nothing is impossible, you just have to wait for eight years,” Parthiv Patel gave a motivational speech, “Don’t be surprised, even Sachin Tendulkar can make a comeback,” he added. He certainly looked taller.

Let’s wait and see if just like Parthiv Patel, Kohinoor can make a comeback!
